Booking an appointment with Ear Rescue is quick and straightforward.

Select the service you need below, choose a date and time that suits you, and you are done. Most appointments take between 30 and 60 minutes, and you will receive a confirmation by email once your booking is complete.

If you are unsure which service to choose, a Consultation is the right starting point. Jo will examine your ears, confirm whether wax build-up is the cause of your symptoms, and carry out any necessary treatment in the same appointment.

Not sure whether you need both ears or one? Don’t worry — just book a single-ear appointment to start. If both ears need attention, Jo will discuss this with you at the time and we can accommodate it on the day where possible.

Everything You Need to Know Before You Book

No referral is needed. You can book directly with Ear Rescue without seeing your GP first. Since the NHS stopped routinely funding ear wax removal, private specialists like us are often the fastest and most straightforward route to treatment — simply choose a time that suits you and we’ll take care of the rest.

If you’re unsure whether you need microsuction, irrigation, or simply an ear health check, don’t worry — just book a consultation and we’ll assess your ears first. We’ll recommend the most appropriate treatment on the day based on what we find. You’ll never be charged for treatment you don’t need.

For most appointments, no preparation is needed. However, if you have particularly hard or dry wax, using olive oil ear drops two to three times a day for three to five days before your visit can help soften the wax and make treatment more comfortable and effective. If you’re unsure, give us a call before your appointment and we’ll advise you.

Most appointments take between 30 and 45 minutes, allowing time for a full ear examination, treatment where needed, and a chat about aftercare before you leave. We never rush our patients — if your appointment needs a little longer, we’ll take the time it needs.
